2009 Dive Team News
The NSJ Blue Marlins Dive team had a fantastic undefeated season again in 2009. Our team won the divisional title for the sixth consecutive year! Twenty nine out of forty eight divers qualified for the Regional Championship meet held at Waugh Chapel Swim Club. Out of twenty five divers attending championships, the following placed in the top six in all of Central Maryland: Bryce Kampert placed second for 8 & under Boys; Victoria Hensh placed third and Julia Manning placed fourth for 8 & under Girls; Anders Nilsson placed fifth for 9/10 Boys; Peyton Fuller placed second for 9/10 Girls; Sam McCoy placed first and Troy Hensh and Sean Holcomb tied for sixth place for 11/12 Boys; Kathryn Kelehan placed third for the 11/12 Girls; Nick Lucchesi placed second and Jake Stevens placed fourth for the 13/14 Boys; Taylor Hensh placed fourth for 13/14 Girls; and Shaffer Bond placed sixth for 15-18 Boys.
Way to go Divers!! We look forward to a Great 2010!
