NSJ Blue Marlins Swim Team Coaches Corner

 

 

Joe Kelly - We welcome back Joe as our head coach. This will be his 4th summer coaching at NSJ.  Joe is a graduate of Mt. Hebron High school and is now attending St. Mary's College of Maryland where he is majoring in mathematics and is a member of the SMCM Swim Team. He was a member of the NSJ swim team and Eagle Swim Team for eight years. Joe will also be a guard at NSJ.

 

 

 

Renee Parsons - We welcome back Renee for her 3nd year as one of our coaches. Renee is a graduate of McDonogh and is now attending Niagara University where she is majoring in International Business and is a member of the NU Swim Team.  She became the first woman at NU to go under a minute in the 100 yard fly, and she was named NU Student-Athlete of the Week for the week December 7, 2010.She was a member of the NSJ swim team for 12 years and the NBAC swim team.

 

 

 

 

Lindsey Rodkey – Joining us as a coach this year is Lindsey.  She is studying Kinesiology and Human Development at the University of Maryland, College Park.  She is president of UMD Club Swim and has been a member of the team since her freshmen year.  Last summer she was an assistant coach at Taylor Village, but is happy to be returning to NSJ where she began swimming competitively at age 5.  In the past Lindsey was also a lifeguard, head guard and assistant manager at NSJ and is also currently the swim lesson coordinator.  She also swam at the Howard County YMCA for 8 years and coached the 8&U age group during her senior year of high school.
