Please welcome CARL WARD as our new pro at NSJ!
Carl is a Baltimore native with 22 years of teaching experience. A graduate of Calvert Hall High School, Carl earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Towson University where he played #2 singles and #1 doubles. Carl was a two-year team captain, most valuable player, earned an unsung athlete award and was a member of the Tiger Gold Club for academic excellence as a student athlete. He has been ranked locally, regionally and held a top 40 national ranking on the men's amateur satellite circuit for both singles and doubles. In other words, he can wipe the court with you.
Carl has worked with USTA's player development program, served as speaker at the East Coast Collegiate Coaches Conference and published articles in several tennis publications. He has taught with other top professionals in the area at Towson Golf and Country Club, The Elkridge Club, Baltimore Tennis Academy, The Tennis Institute and Tournament Tough Tennis Program. He has a passion for the game and has experience with all levels from beginners to touring professionals.
